Taylor has been a personal fitness trainer and group fitness instructor in Edmonton for more than 5 years. She began her fitness journey to help herself lose weight and change her own habits and lifestyle. She attended NAIT and completed the 2 year personal training diploma. This evolved into her passion to help others create a sustainable and fun fitness routine.
MY WHY: To guide and empower young women and men to use movement as medicine and connect to their bodies with love, optimism and acceptance.
“I was overweight my entire childhood. I yo-yo dieted from the age of 12 to age 20. I fell into a deep depressive state where I turned to substances to cope. When I realized what was happening, I was scared, ashamed and tired of my own negative choices. Fitness became my lifeline. It made me want to help others to see how unique and amazing our bodies truly are. Fast forward to where I am now. I’m not perfect by any means. I still have fat on my body. But I am strong, fierce, fun-loving, kind, crazy, smart and I will kick your booty. I will make you laugh, pat your back and call you out when you need it. Let’s kick ass and find your balance! I am Taylor Made Fitness.”
